Frequently Asked Questions

What is ReMarket? A program from Steelcase Financial Services to provide customers quality, pre-owned furniture solutions made available typically through previously leased products that have been used on average of about 2-5 years.

What is the quality of your product? We can’t promise you that our inventory looks showroom new (because it isn’t new), but sometimes we sell furniture that has only been on our showroom floor. Our product is inspected by an Authorized Steelcase dealer. A second inspection is completed when the furniture is returned to our warehouse. Normal wear and tear should be expected.

Can I reserve or hold product? In order to serve all customers fairly, we cannot hold or reserve inventory. All inventory is first-come, first-served.

Where is your warehouse? Lowell, Michigan. About 30 miles east of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Do you provide shipping? Shipping, delivery, and installation are the responsibility of the dealer/customer. Shipping assistance can be provided for an additional cost.

Can you consolidate shipments with new furniture orders? Not available at this time.

What is your warranty? While Steelcase Inc provides a lifetime warranty on many of its NEW products to original purchasers, our furniture is pre-owned and therefore is sold as-is, where is, without representation or warranty of any kind.

Missing Parts? Chances are for seating products, all the parts are in one unit. For systems furniture, there are many pieces (mainly brackets and hinges) that connect everything together. Since our parts lists is actually an inventory list and not an original manufacturer's packing list, there is some risk that you may be missing brackets, and other components. Your local Steelcase dealer can order those for you at the time of installation.

Do you install the furniture? No, we do not offer installation services, however your local Authorized Steelcase dealer is a great choice.

Can I finance furniture from ReMarket? Yes. We finance furniture to qualified commercial customers.

How long does it take to get the product? If product is located at the warehouse, it takes approximately 2-3 business days from receipt of purchase order and purchase agreement for product to be prepped for shipment. (Canadian orders may require longer due to customs paper work)
